Description

Fogarty held its 50th anniversary symposium, "What are the new frontiers in global health research?" on May 1, 2018, at NIH in Bethesda, Maryland. The key to containing HIV in Africa is preventing or diagnosing the disease in young women, said Dr. Quarraisha Abdool Karim, associate scientific director of CAPRISA in South Africa.
