| Description |
Operated as 'PN+LU' by III/NJG 11, this Fw190 (WkNr 550214) was captured complete at Leck-Holstein at the end of the war. It was given the RAF serial 'A.M.10' and was delivered from Schleswig to Farnborough on 16th June 1945. It was later shipped to South Africa, arriving in November 1945. Displayed at Dunnottar AB until 1970, it then moved to Snake Valley AB for restoration. Once complete, it was transferred to the South African National Museum of Military History where it remains on display at Saxonwold, Johannesburg. South Africa. 16-9-2014 |
