Nederlands: Op 31 mei 2022 ontvingen we vanwege Roger Vandenbussche uit Assebroek volgend commentaar : 'De notities op deze prentbriefkaart dateren van 1893. Op deze opname van het begin van de 'Avenue de Steenbrugghe' nabij de Kathelijnepoort, is het aangekruiste gebouw de woning van het echtpaar G. D'hoore-Wante. Dit huis was in 1863 aangekocht van de mede-erfgenamen van Ludovica Wante van de herberg het 'Hof van Versailles' en werd vanaf dan een woning. Céline D'hoore die de kaart heeft genaamtekend was de dochter van G. D'hoore-Wante. De ouders van Ludovica, Jacobus Wante en Theresia Adam, hadden de gerenommeerde herberg het 'Hof van Versailles' begin 1838 aangekocht. Helaas overlijdt vader Jacobus Wante reeds op 14 augustus 1838 en blijft Theresia achter met 8 kinderen waaronder Ludovica en Jacobus, de latere brouwer en burgemeester van Assebroek.'
