| Description | These California seagulls were soaring near some cliffs in San Diego so I could get a bird's eye view of what it's like to fly. The are always on the alert for ocean food or scavenging at the beach. Like most birds they fly in packs to help keep predators away. Reminds me that inventors like the Wright Brothers and many others had to study bird flight to understand wing design and uplift. |
