MISS MARY E. MARTIN, FLORAL PARR, NEW YORK.
NEW ALLEGHENY HOLLYHOCKS.
Mammoth Fringed Flowers, Biooms
the First Year from Seed. These new
Hollyhocks are the largest and most beautiful
of any. Flowers 4 to 6 inches across, fringed
and curled with a peculiar texture which looks
like crushed silk. Shell pink, rose and ruby-
red ; flames of colors delicately shaded toward
the edge. Every flower opens on the spike.
A magnificent and artistic plant.
All colors mixed, pkt, 50 seeds, 8c.
HOLLYHOCKS.
World's Fair Mixture.
This grand old plant was always dear to us
all. But of late years it is a wonder. Enor-
mous flowers with such deep colors, such deli-
cate shades of pink, blush and yellow,
with all the darker ones to almost black.
Packet of 20 colors (50 seeds), 5c.
Double Black— Packet (50 seeds), 8c.
FAIRY ROSE SEED.
(Rosa Multiflora nana Perpetua.)
This is the true New Hardy Hybrid Perpetual, Ever-Blooming Rose, which
will surely blossom in 60 days. I have a photograph of a plant in flower 28
days from sowing the seed. This variety is entirely new and very expen-
sive, and must not be confounded with seed sold as " Polyantha" or
" M ultiflora " which simply means "many flowered " and will not bloom
under four to six months, and altogether inferior in even,- way. These
roses are a wonderful freak of nature. These sturdy little Midgets
start to flower in babyhood two months from seed. They flower on
little shoots 3 inches high. With age the flowers increase "in size and
number, until large trusses of bloom cover the plant from spring until frost,
when the flower trusses are closely followed by clusters of bright red hips
or seed pods. They are hardy and live from year to year, in-
creasing in beauty and perfection each year. The flowers come
double, semi-double, in many colors, white, pink and crimson.
Pkt., 3 capsules, 20 feeds, with " Jadoo " for sowing, ISc.
Pkt., Multiflora, or Polyantha Rose Seed, 50 seeds, 3c.
CALCEOLARIA (Shower o f Sold)
For house or conservatory this is a
gem. Plant is a sheet of flowers.
Pkt., 100 seeds, 10 c.
Cineraria, New Striped
(Striata). Entirely new variety,
very large flowers, most beautifully
striped in all shades and colors.
Many flowers have a distinct white
eve with blue center; verv showv.

  • Pkt., 50 seeds, 15c.

Cineraria Double Flowers.
A very beautiful and unique sort,
with Very large double globe-like
flowers. Pkt.. 50 seeds, 15c.
CINERARIA GRAWDIFLORA.
"International Mixture."
A great exhibition and decorative
plant. This is a mixture of the finest
English, French and German strains;
the flowers are very large, from 7 to 8
inches in circumference, and in the
most brilliant colors. I sell a large
quantity to florists. Pkt. , 60 seeds, 15 c.
Cineraria Grandiflora. Very
fine qualitv, large flowers many

colors. Pkt., 100 seeds, 6c.

This tag is designed for use where there may be a need to assert that any enhancements (eg brightness, contrast, colour-matching, sharpening) are in themselves insufficiently creative to generate a new copyright. It can be used where it is unknown whether any enhancements have been made, as well as when the enhancements are clear but insufficient. For known raw unenhanced scans you can use an appropriate {{PD-old}} tag instead. For usage, see Commons:When to use the PD-scan tag.

Note: This tag applies to scans and photocopies only. For photographs of public domain originals taken from afar, {{PD-Art}} may be applicable. See Commons:When to use the PD-Art tag.
