Description

MISS MARY E. MARTIN, FLORAL PARK, NEW YORK.
GIANT COMET ASTERS.
These Asters are the very finest of all for garden culture. They
are vigorous in growth arid profuse in bloom. The plants grow 15
to 18 inches high, the flowers are very large and produced on long
stems, making a perfect pyramid o*f flowers— which are highly
artistic and very beautiful ; the petals are curTed and twisted ; and
are as graceful as an ostrich feather. Colors are carmine, blue
and white, peach and pearly grey*

40 kinds in one packet ; 100 kinds and colors in eighth of ounce
and larger quantities.

themum ; it is an ideal wedding flower. The true
seed is very expensive ; beware of spurious stock ;
the ordinary White Comet is not a circumstance
to this.

Public domain

This tag is designed for use where there may be a need to assert that any enhancements (eg brightness, contrast, colour-matching, sharpening) are in themselves insufficiently creative to generate a new copyright. It can be used where it is unknown whether any enhancements have been made, as well as when the enhancements are clear but insufficient. For known raw unenhanced scans you can use an appropriate {{PD-old}} tag instead. For usage, see Commons:When to use the PD-scan tag.

Note: This tag applies to scans and photocopies only. For photographs of public domain originals taken from afar, {{PD-Art}} may be applicable. See Commons:When to use the PD-Art tag.
