Description
English: A Post-medieval copper-alloy strap fitting dating to AD 1500 - 1700. The mount is sub-circular with two shanks at its rear. The decorative mount is in the shape of a five petalled flower, the petals are trapezoidal, each separated by a single incised line, the centre has a small circular recession. The rear is undecorated with two integral cylindrical shanks which taper to a point, these are both folded inward towards each other.
