English: Flour mill, built 1848. In 1848, in what is now Bath Street, John Venn established a steam flour mill. The steam from the mill was utilised in 1851 to heat new public baths behind the mill in buildings which are now the Masonic lodge in nearby Kyrle Street. The former mill is now known as Berrows House - office suites. |
