Champion .City Greenhouses, Springfield, Ohio, IS SEVEN GOLDEN YELLOW BEAUTIES. THE BEST OF ALL DEEP YELLOW ROSES. r COMTESSE DE FRIGNEUSE. In color, charming; in freedom of bloom, second to none. The buds are long and pointed, and of good size. The color is a deep golden yellow, with softer shade inside of petal. Asa yellow Rose this takes rank next to Marechal Niel. 10 cents each; large two-year-old plants each. The Good& Reese Co.— New Orleans, La., June 23. Dear Sirs;—/ have had some very beautiful and perfect Roses from the Com tesse de Frigneuse which I got from you. I consider it /ully equal to Marechal Niel. A. F. M . MADAME HONORE DEFRESNE. A valuable and exceedingly beautiful variety, flowers a clear golden yellow, very large, full and sweet, buds long and pointed, opens well. First-class in every way. Probably the richest yellow Rose ever grown. 15 cents each; large two-year- bid plants, 40 cents each. MADEMOISELLE CECILE BERTHOD. Most beautiful, both in bud and flower, which is deep golden yellow, in fact, the deepest yellow in color of any Rose we grow. The foliage is very bright. This is a Rose of magnifi- cent size and color. We grow of this variety alone over fifty thousand, which is an evidence of how we prize it. Altogether a grand Rose, and always in bloom. 10 cents each; large two-year-old plants, 50 cents each. STAR OF LYON. Etoile de J^yon.—This mag- nificent Tea Rose is a rich gold- en yellow, a strong, healthy and vigorous grower, immense bloomer, bearing flowers and buds early and late. The flow- ers are very deep, rich and full, excellent substance, very sweet. Surely one of the very best and most beautiful yellow Tea Roses for general planting ever intro- duced. Remarkably hardy, both as to heat and cold, frequently standing the Winters here unin- jured in open ground without protection, and blooming nicely all through the hottest part of the Summer. 10 cents each; large two-year-old plants, 50 cents each. MEDIA. New Golden Yellow Tea Rose.—This is the grandest of all yellow Roses, p.nd should be planted by everybody. When we first saw this Rose two years ago we predicted that it would create a furore among Rose growers, and it has verified the prediction. Its flowers are of the largest size, perfectly double to the center and of the most perfect shape, both in bud and blossom, while its color is a de- gree of loveliness unapproached by any other Rose, being a rich deep golden yellow, with de- cided sulphur tints. The bright- ness and richness ofthisRoseis theadmiration of all beholders. We have grown in our estab- lishment some fifty varieties of yellow Roses, and think Media the best. Media will not disap- point you as a yellow Rose. Try it. 15 cents each; large two - year-old plants, 50 cents each. ISABELLA SPRTJNT. A bright canary yellow, large beautiful buds, suitable for cut flowers, a very sweet Tea scent, profuse bloomer. It is no doubt the freest bloomer of all yellow Roses. This variety has been a favorite in all gardens where good yellow Roses are planted, for the past twenty years. There are none better. 10 cents each; large two-year-old plants, 40 cents each. PERLE DES JARDINS. which you positively cannot do without. The majority of cut- flower buyers who order "a dozen Marechal Niel buds" the year

If you are desirous of hav- ing yellow Roses we would advise you to plant the Roses named on this page. They are all well-known varieties, and every one has merits of its own entirely distinct from one another. Pearl of the Gardens. to their satisfaction, too, be it said, for though the two varieties differ, Perle does not suffer by comparison with JSiel. it nas absolutely no weak point, but is a perfect and popular Rose. The color is faultless, whether the waxy petals show the cream tint of cool weather, or take richer golden shades which a warmer sun gives them. The form of the bud is rich, round and luxuriant. It is only equaled in beauty by the open Rose, which is full to the center and large. It is no shy, creeping plant, but is fairly riotous ingrowth, sending out quantities of beautiful foliage, fliick glossy and dark, every branch being tipped with the dark, reddish maroon of the young shoots, and bearing its buds or clusters of buds his:h above the leaves. 15 round do'not know their orders"are filled with Perfes" and~q*uite cents each; large two-year-old plants, 50 cents each. SPECTAT OFPPP The seven beautiful golden yellow Roses on this page for 75 cents; in large two- OfEUAL UrrfcK, year-old size, the seven for $3.35. ,::::*»»*
