12 the McGregor bros. co., Springfield, ohio. The Beautiful Freesia Refracta Alba. 1THE charming and novel ^ blossoms of this pop- ular flowering Bulb are well shown in our illus- tration. For Winter bloom- ing in the house it is prob- ably today the most popular of all. It is sure to suc- ceed and flower elegantly for any one in any situation. The splendid blossoms are borne in great profusion; color purest white, the low- er petals touched with yel- low. The perfume is deli- cious, reminding one of Hyacinth, Mignonette and Jessamine combined. There are six to eight flowers on a stem nine inches high, which are particularly val- uable for cutting, remaining in good condition for two weeks. Four to six bulbs can be planted in a five- inch pot, box or pan, and grown like other bulbs. By planting at intervals from September to November, a succession of flowers can be had throughout the Winter. We offer the largest and finest Bulbs and earnestly recommend every one to plant at least a few of this lovely variety. Price, 3 cents each; six for 15 cents; twelve for 25 cents; twenty- five for 50 cents.
