GRBVILLEA, THE AUSTRALIAN SILK TREE. The Magnificent Decorative House Plant, GREVILLEA ROBUSTA, or The Australian Silk Tree. A magnificent plant for decorative purposes, of rapid, easy- growth, fully cut foliage, rivaling a rare fern. The young growing leaves are a light brown color, the tips being cov- ered with a soft down closely resembling raw silk, hence the name "Silk Oak." In its native place it attains magnifi- cent proportions and produces an abundance of bright or- ange-colored flowers. We offer two sizes of this beautiful plant. Nice little plants, 10 cents; large size at 25 cents. Carex Japonica Variegata. A new ornamental Japanese grass which is extremely useful as a house plant, of easy growth, standing the dry atmosphere of heated rooms with impunity, and at the same time hardy if planted out in the garden in Summer. Price, 15 cents each THE FINE PLANT, PANDANUS UTILIS. As an ornament for the window its glossy, dark green serrated foliage renders it unusually attractive, while as a vase plant or single specimen in greenhouse or conservatory, it cannot be surpassed. It is also largely used to decorate the halls in our private residences, and shows grandly on the lawn when grown to a suflBcient size. Price, nice plants, 25 cents each; large plants, 50 cents each; by express, extra fine for immediate effect, $1.00. JASMINES. Revolutum, Yellow Jasmine—A strong, climbing plant, with glossy leaves and single, deep yellow, fragrant blossoms. A beautiful plant, and easily grown. Almost hardy in this latitude. Price, 10 cents each; large plants, 25 cents. Jasmine Gi-acillimum—A new Jasmine, and remark- able for its freedom of bloom. Beautiful pure white fiow- ers, borne in clusters. Delightfully fragrant. In bloom from October to February. We have two sizes of this delightful Jasmine. Nice plants, 10 cents each; large plants, 25 cents each. Jasminnm Grandifloram—This is an old favorite and the most satisfactory for general culture of all the Jasmines. It flowers nearly the whole season, and is especially valuable as a house plant in winter; flowers star-shaped, pure white and very fragrant. Price, 10 cents. Ja.smine Maid of Ox'leans—A very attractive new sort, with good-sized double flowers, blooming profusely all sum- mer, shining pale-green foliage. We predict for it a rapid sale, as it is so much easier to handle than other Cape Jasmines, and, on the whole, more desirable. Nice plants, lo cents; large plants, 25 cents; extra fine, two-year plants, 50 cents. Grand Duke—This Jasmine is very easily grown, even small plants bear a profusion of very double creamy-white flowers, having a delicious perfume. It is a magnificent plant, and will become one of the most valuable and pop- ular pot plants when it becomes better known. It can be stored in a dry cellar in winter. Price, 25 and 50 cents each, according to size; good plants.
