Choice Winter Blooming Carnations. Price, large size for blooming this Winter, 15 cents each; any four for 50 cents. A smaller size that will give you some flowers this Winter, and will make splen- did flowering plants by Spring. Price, 10 cents each; any three for 25 cents. BlancheâA white variety of great merit. Growth strong and vigorous; foliage is of a light- er shade of green than that of any of the other varieties. DaybreakâThe flowers are of largest size, very double and full in center, the center petals are slightly raised; the petals are thick and of heavy texture. In color it is a beautiful pure bright flesh color. Edna CraigâA remarkably handsome flower. The color is a lovely shade of clear, soft, light pink. The flowers are of fine form and great substance, with heavily fringed petals; very large, measuring two and one-half to three inch- es in diameter. Fred DornerâA deep velvety-red, flower extra large, seldom less than three inches across; a con- stant free bloomer and vigorous grower. GoldfinchâYellow edged pink. This variety resembles Wm. Scott in growth, and is fully as free blooming. The color is a little lighter shade than Buttercup, and is of medium size. Calyx never bursting. Lizzie HcGowanâThis grand Carnation i3 a cross between Hinze's White and Peter Henderson. It is a splendid grower, producing very large, pure white flowers that are beautifully fringed, delightfully fragrant, and all borne on long, stiff stems. rirs. ReynoldsâA strong, free-growing variety. Flowers very large, with massive, broad petals. Color a delicate, rich pink, shading to a lovely tint of peach blossom. rirs. HarrisonâPure white, with an occasional carmine streak. A splendid grower. One of the best Carnations for cut flower trade. riadame Diaz AlbertiniâFree-blooming qualities for the whole season; stem very strong; calyx peculiar cup-shape, the points bracing against the petals, making it very strong. Flower very large, center round and full; color a delicate flesh-pink with a very strong clove fragrance ; has excellent keeping qualities. PortiaâThe most intense bright scarlet, with a vigorous constitution, having not the slightest tendency to dry out. Flowers of good size and finely produced, and, taken as a whole, the best market scarlet. Silver SprayâStrong, robust, but very dwarf in habit, rarely exceeding six inches in height, but of bushy, compact growth. Usually free blooming. Flowers produced on long stems, very large and perfectly formed. Pure white in color, and beautifully fringed. Star LightâA very pretty canary-yellow Carnation, a sport from Hinze's White, similar in foliage and form of flower ; its charming yellow tint with its short growing habit make it very desirable. Tidal WaveâFlowers are very large, color bright rosy- pink, changing to carmine-pink, with salmon shadings. Healthy, free blooming. White DoveâPurest white, texture heavy and glistening, petals lightly fringed, a little beyond the average size. It is a strong, free bloomer. Win. ScottâIt is a strong, healthy grower. The flower is a bright pink, growing brighter when fully expanded. The flowers are long stemmed, exceedingly fragrant. â II111â 111111111 â iâ t 111 â 11:1111:111111 â 11 â 11111111 â 111111â 111b11111111 â i â â a 11i i iâ 11111111111111! icg ia1111 s 1111 â 11 e r 111â 11111 â 1111:11111111 â 1111 ⢠11â â â 11111⢠iaiâ 11
