Lily of the Valley, COO well known to need any special description. Every one knows their value for outdoor blooming, but all do not realize that their sprays of fairy bells can be obtained in Winter just as easily. We offer strong, im- ported pips that have been grown especially for Winter blooming. Plant half a dozen pips in a four-inch pot, keep rather cool until well started, then bring to the light and warmth and keep freely supplied with water. You will be surprised at the rapidity of their growth and at the size of their lovely, fragrant bells. We can supply the bulbs all winter. Price, 4 cents each; 40c per dozen. New Ever-blooming Dwarf Calla, ^ The Gem* Having given it a fair trial with the ordinary variety known as the Calla Lily, the only objection to the old variety is that it sometimes grows tall and scraggy ; but the "Gem" is of strong and dwarf habits. The foliage is of a lustrous dark green, and is produced in great abundance. Its flowers are produced in the greatest profusion, being literally an ever-bloomer; it will bloom freely all Summer out in the open ground; in September it can be lifted and potted and will continue blooming all Winter. Price, 15 cents each; large plants, 25 cents. ^ Calla Richardia (Spotted Calla.) The Richardia Alba, or Spotted Calla, is a plant of magnificent appear- ance. The leaves are of the richest green, spotted with pure white. The flowers are white, with a rich chocolate throat. It can either be grown in a pot, planted in a border, or in a vase or rustic stand, the latter being a very effective way of showing its beauty. Price, 1 5 cents each; large bulbs, 25 cents each. The Beautiful Lemon Lily of Siberia. (Homerocallis Flava.) One of the most beautiful and desirable Lillies in existence. You plant it once and you have it for all time. Few plants present a more striking appearance on the lawn or border than a large clump of this clear lemon- colored lily, which i; produced in the greatest profusion, lasting in flower for a long time, it; is perfectly hardy, requiring not the slightest protec tion and no care, after being once started. Price, 20c each..
