Perle des Jardins—The one Tea Rose which you cannot possibly do without. It has absolutely no weak point, but is a perfect and popular rose. The color is faultless, whether the waxy petals show the rich cream tint of cool weather, or take richer golden shades which a warmer sun gives them. The form of the bud is rich, rounded and luxuriant. It is only equalled in beauty by the open rose, which is full to the center and large. It is no shy, creeping plant, but is fairly riotous in growth, sending out quantities of beau- tiful foliage, thick, glossy and dark, every branch being tipped with the dark reddish-maroon of the young shoots, and bearing its buds high above the leaves. Price, 15 cents each; large plants, 35 cents each. The Beautiful New Everblooming THE BEAUTIFUL NEW ROSE, Inconstant Beauty. (See illustration page 2.) The rose of many colors—from yellow to crimson. This new ever-blooming rose from France is very remarkable in many respects, but the most notable is its ability to change its color. This rose is almost identical with "Child's- Jewel," but we believe a much better rose. We have seen bushes of this wonderful variety bearing at the same time coppery-yellow, deep rose, blush pink, mottled yellow and apricot, light and dark crimson roses. These beau- tiful colors will sometimes be mottled in a single flower. A plant of this beautiful rose, when in full bloom, pre- sents a sight that is at once novel and pleasing. The buds and flowers are large, delightfully fragrant, and, as may be imagined, are exquisitelv beau- tiful. It is a Tea Rose, and is, there- fore, a constant bloomer. Its fragrance is delicious, and it being a vigorous, grower makes it valuable for garden culture. Price, 15 cents; large two- year-old plants, 35 cents. The Superb New Scarlet Rose ♦ CLIMBING WOOTON. This elegant new Climbing Hybrid Tea Rose is one which promises to be a prime favorite wherever intro- duced. Everything good that can be said of the grand rose, Souvenir de Wooton, can be said of this rose, and more, too. The flowers are large and of a beautiful vel- vety-red color, and the perfume is elegant. Whether open» half open or in bud, the flowers are of fine shape. The flowers are borne at the terminus of long shoots, which render them especially good for cutting, much better, in fact, than the flowers of its parent, Souvenir de Wooton. Price, 15 oente; large two-year-old plants, 30 cents. MAMAN COCHET It is a vigorous grower with beautiful foliage. In bud it resembles the Mer- met family, being long and shapely, borne on long, stiff stems. You can get an idea of the exquisite flower from the engraving. It is of the largest size, and, as you will notice, the flower is built up or rounded, and very double. The color is a deep rose-pink, the inner side of the petals being a silver-rose, shad- ed and touched with golden-yellow. We pro- nounce this the finest rose by far that has been introduced from France in the past five years. Price, 15 cents each; large two-year-old plants, 35 cents each.
