Summary
[edit]DescriptionFloral Hall, foyer of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden - geograph.org.uk - 215175.jpg |
English: Floral Hall, foyer of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. The floral hall is the main area of the Royal Opera House for drinks and meals before a performance and in intervals; this photo is taken before a performance by the Bolshoi Ballet from Moscow. The iron and glass hall was built as a flower market next to the opera house, and was incorporated into it in the reconstruction in the 1990s. The ballet goer studying the programme is the photographer's wife. |
