Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Bromeliad flower. This little white points in the flower black parts are thousands of tiny insects moving which, unfortunately, I couldn't identify it's species. I'm no specialist, but by the researches I made this seems to be a bromeliad of the "neoregalia" species, a species in extinction process, or probably a hybrid between more than one of a kind. The pic and the video were made in Brazil, SP, São Paulo, Itanhaém, near the seacoast (so close that you can acctualy hear the sea sound in the video), in a bioma in extinction process called "Atlantic Forest" which covers the most of the brazilian coast. However, the bromeliad flowers once in a lifetime and it takes months or years for it happens and if the flower is removed, the rest of the plant may lives, but the flower don't, making removing it becomes a mortal sin.
