| Description |
English: Floodplain fields. Well nobody said that TL0056 was exciting, and this photo pretty much represents it. The trees on the horizon mark the course of the River Great Ouse in an arc around the photo position, and the field in the foreground is so flood-prone that the road past it has depth markers and a raised walkway. The clay-soiled field is currently planted with the same rubbery cabbage-like plant that apparently is good for the soil when preparing to grow real crops. |
