[edit]DescriptionFlood fighting in North Dakota DVIDS260378.jpg |
English: Maj. Gen. David Sprynczynatyk, the North Dakota adjutant general, passes a sandbag to a civilian flood fighting volunteer March 16, along the Red River in the south end of Fargo, N.D. The quickly rising water of the Red River behind him is a reminder of the urgency of the flood fighting mission, as a homeowner in the neighborhood could be heard expressing his happiness with the flood fighting assistance by saying, "I love seeing the Guard here! It's like the Cavalry rolling in to save us."
