Flint scraper and debitage
Description
English: A flint blade scraper and piece of debitage of Neolithic date, c. 4000- 2350 BC. 

Both objects are formed of the same dark grey, almost black glossy flint.

The scraper is rectangular in shape, and triangular in cross section, and has the appearance of a blade. There is a small patch of pale grey patinisation on the distal end, which is a secondary flake retaining a small patch fo creamy cortex at the proximal end. Steep parallell retouch is present on the right hand side of the blade. It is 46.1mm in length, 16.2mm width, 9.7mm thickness, weight 9.4g.

The debitage is large and irregularly shaped, but loosely triangular. It is also triangular in cross section. It is 42.1mm in length, 32.9mm in width, 14.2mm thickness, weight 17.16g.
