Flint end scraper, Neolithic (probably)
Description
English: Lithic implement; flint end scraper made on a secondary flake, probably Neolithic (3500BC-2100BC), possibly late Palaeolithic to Bronze Age. Sub-rectangular, convex distal edge, tapering to the proximal end. 10% cortex. Ventral - hard hammer bulb with large scar. Dorsal - 4 flake scars, abrupt retouch along the distal end. Thick cream patina with some blue-grey shining through. Length 53.6mm, width 29.7mm, thickness 7.4mm, weight 11.83g.
