Flint Neolithic leaf shaped arrowhead
Description
English: A leaf shaped flint arrowhead of ogival form, dating from the early Neolithic period, 3500-2500BC. It is in the form of a squat teardrop with two concave upper edges. It is formed on mottled grey flint which is patinated. There is invasive retouch on both faces. It is 18.5mm long, 13.3mm wide and 3.2mm thick. It weighs 0.81gm.

Similar arrowheads are illustrated in Butler, 2005, Prehistoric Flintwork, figure 48, numbers 1a - 3a.
