Description

See- I'm not the only guy who thinks a nice warm gray is a good color for a sports car... although it does blend in, perhaps too well, with the concrete... But the orange fixes that. After all the jellybean colors, this one really stood out (and I *like* jellybean colors). So I don't know these people or how they got the funding for this but I was rooting for them in any event.

And you can REALLY see where that rear fender line on the Carrera GT came from-

Why isn't there as much public passion for the exquisitely engineered VWs and Hondas with just enough HP to haul 2 - 3 adults, 4 if needed, or a typical family? Toyota sells the most cars and I understand why but they don't, uniformly, want to go out and dance. They are means to an end. Honda, and VW, is a whole other trip. Mazda even more so. There ought to be a class of racing where representative sand bags are clicked into the seat belts, all equal but unknown before the race, and there's a distance to cover target which cannot be accomplished at full throttle, with the gas on board. Refueling allowed, but its self serve and you have to punch in your zip code.

Winner either covers the most distance before the time target or takes the least time to cover the distance - maybe decide that on the fly as well.

I've gotta go see the 24 hours of LeMons one of these days...
