[edit]DescriptionFlickr - brewbooks - Mount Eden crater and view.jpg |
Auckland, NZ 29 October 2005 We got back to our hotel (Kingsgate in Parnell section of Auckland), did some laundry, and then met up with the Northwest Horticulture Society (NHS) group that we are going to spend 12 days with, touring NZ gardens. Our group journeyed over to Mt Eden park, which is an extinct volcanic crater with an awesome view of Auckland. A group of friends our our guide Jo volunteered to chauffer us all over to the park, ewhich worked very well. We set up some tables and had some champagne with Angoustra bitters in it. Mary Ellen is adventurous, she has some Cognac as well. Afterwards we had dinner with this extended group at Jo's house. i103005 125 |
