(Aug. 20, 2012) StarBridge Communications site supervisor Ernest Poston assembles a General Dynamics 7.3-meter satellite earth station antenna at Naval Surface Warfare Center , Corona Division. As the Navy's independent performance assessment agent for warfare and combat systems, Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona's performance assessment department provides missile flight analysis for area defense, self-defense and strike warfare; provides engineering analysis and liaison efforts to support and assess major fleet exercises; and develops, operates and maintains communications, computing and instrumentation systems required for the collection, analysis and dissemination of performance assessment data.
