SIHANOUKVILLE, Cambodia (Oct. 21, 2012) Royal Cambodian Navy sailors present Cmdr. Joseph R. Darlak, commanding officer of the guided-missile frigate USS Vandegrift (FFG 48), with flowers upon arrival at the Sihanoukville Commercial Port. Vandegrift is participating in Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Cambodia phase 2012. CARAT is a series of bilateral military exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Timor Leste.
