GULF OF OMAN (July 24, 2012) Sailors aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Nitze (DDG 94) man the rails in preparation for a replenishment at sea with the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Carl Brashear (T-AKE 7). Nitze is deployed as part of the Enterprise Carrier Strike Group to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
