GULF OF THAILAND (May 23, 2012) Royal Thai Navy medical officers and U.S. Navy Sailors and Marines watch the 4th Marine Regiment launch their amphibious assault vehicles (AAV) from the amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42) during a bilateral U.S. and Royal Thai Navy beach landing. The 4th Marines and Germantown are participating in Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Thailand 2012.
