PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 07, 2012) A board of inspection and survey (INSURV) member inspects the counter-measure washdown system on the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73). INSURV inspects U.S. Navy ships every five years of a ship's life to ensure mission readiness and material conditions are up to standards.
