March 15, 2007. Every year, a nationwide home front protection drill is conducted in schools across Israel. The drill is a combined effort of the Home Front Command, the Ministry of Education, Magen David Adom and the Fire Department. The drill tests the preparedness of education institutions for emergency events, especially their ability to cope with rocket fire towards Israel.
