02/23/2006 During an IDF operation in Nablus, an exchange of fire between wanted militants and IDF forces took place in which 2 soldiers were injured-1 moderately and the other lightly- and 3 wanted Tanzim operatives were neutralized. Among those was Muhammed Shitvay, commander of the Tanzim branch in the Nablus region. A hidden weapons cache was discovered which included 5 gas balloons, an M16, an M4 Carbine with a grenade launcher, 9 M16/M4 magazines, a gun with ammunition, and other militant equipment.
