| Description |
The former Chief of the General Staff, then-Lt. Gen. Dan Halutz, joins bereaved Bedouin families for a holiday dinner in Olga. Lt. Dan Halutz said: "We find ourselves in a time where we make many attempts to decrease the amount of attacks that we are faced with, so that we may live in a quiet and peaceful country. The IDF will continue to be the eyes and ears of the country as well a supporting shoulder, so that it may assist in any situation." He then added "We always remember, love, and appreciate everyone." The representative of the families, Hisham Haib, thanked the the Chief of the General Staff and the IDF in an emotional speech about his feelings towards the IDF. |
