Last week, the 7th Armored Brigade completed a brigade maneuver in the Golan Heights, simulating combat scenarios in the north The exercise included live fire drills. During the exercise, forces simulated an attack in the north, along with fighting in enemy territory. Many infantry soldiers participated in the drill as well, including combat engineering forces who cleared the roads for the tanks and armored forces. During the live fire exercises, the Israel Air Force provided operational cover and air support. During any week of training, the IAF takes the opportunity to train in medical evacuations and landing airborne supplies.
