Summary
[edit]DescriptionFlickr - Hugo90 - 1949 Oldsmobile steel bodied 88.jpg |
When the '49 Olds hit the market, the wagons had wood bodies. Mid-year they changed to steel, then discontinued the Olds wagon until the 1957 models. The steel wagons used trompe l'oeil fake wood painting. Packed into a large room are some of the finest examples of American cars. When the new "America's Car Museum" opens next year, these vehicles will have a proper display place. |
