| Description | Vice Adm. Robert T. Conway Jr., commander, Navy Installations Command, right, and Rear Adm. Leendert R. Hering Sr., commander, Navy Region Southwest, cut a ribbon at the unveiling of the Shore Force Training Center on Naval Air Station North Island. The aim of the SFTC is to ensure that Navy installations are prepared to shelter Navy personnel and their families and to protect Navy property during times of catastrophic emergency. |
