From right to left, Spc. Eric Wiederholt, Spc Joshua Lanzdorf, and Spc. Randy Birchfield, all of the 815th Engineer Company, Det. 2, based in Lisbon, N.D., carry sandbags in the rain, along a flood levee for placement in a flood barrier April 10, at a rural farmstead in Cass County, N.D. The soldiers are members of a North Dakota National Guard quick response force team that has been sent to the rural home, which has been surrounded by miles of flood water, by the Cass County tactical operations center.
