[edit]
Description
English: Case IV. J. R., male, 14: photographs and skiagram (Plate 34, and Plate 35,

Fig. 16). Eyes large at birth and head noticed to be peculiarly shaped. Suffered from frequent occipital headaches. Had never had fits. Memory not good and was only in fourth standard. Was the first and only child, difficult labour, breech presentation. Family history good. Oxycephalic skull. Exophthalmos and divergent squint. No nystagmus. Mouth-breather. Nasal septum deflected. Superior maxilla shortened. Vision good. No optic atrophy. Ear poorly developed, tragus rudimentary. Sense of smell, taste, and hearing normal. Peculiar malformation of thumbs; the first phalanx was curved outwards towards the radial side, the outer or radial side being shorter than the inner. The skiagram of the skull shows very distinctly the characteristic changes

at the base and the digital markings.
