English: 1872 map showing Fleetwood Park race track and environs in the Bronx, New York. 2 blocks north of the race track is the M. Zborowski estate (labeled as being 80 acres) a portion of which is now Claremont Park. It is difficult to tell how the street grid depicted on this map corresponds to the modern grid. The street labeled "Mott Av", near the west end of the race track oval, is probably the modern Grand Concourse. The large road labeled "Central Av", 4 blocks west of Mott and immediately west of Cromwells Creek, is now Jerome Avenue. What is labeled "Fleetwood Av" appears to have been renamed Teller Ave. On a modern map, there is an additional street, College Ave, between Morris and Findlay Avenues; this does not appear at all on the 1872 map, nor is there space for it, and the alignment of 167th street between what are now College and Teller Avenues doesn't line up with a modern map.
