Description |
Flauta transversal sin canal de insuflación. Entre 1846-47 el constructor e instrumentista muniqués Theobald Boehm (1794-1881) inventa un modelo de flauta que, con leves modificaciones, es el empleado en la actualidad. El modelo restituye a su cuerpo metálico la horadación cilindrica, abandonada en favor de la cónica por más de cientocincuenta años. La posición y diámetro de los orificios están determinados según principios acústicos, sin considerar la comodidad para obturarlos. Esta comodidad se logra a través del sistema de llaves. La licencia para fabricar en Francia el nuevo modelo de flauta fue otorgada por Boehm en 1847 a Clair Godfroy l"aíné (... 1814 ca. 1878). Este lo adoptó a las exigencias requeridas por los ejecutantes de su país. El ejemplar del museo es un buen ejemplo de la mencionada adaptación. Por un lado retorna a la madera, en este caso palisandro, como materia para la construcción del cuerpo. |
