When the rains start, owing to aging drainage systems along most roads in Uganda, flash flooding occurs usually cutting off sections of many roads

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: During the rains especially in the capital of Uganda, many sewerage ad drainage channels that are obsolete overflow. This causes a lot of run-off water that causes sections of roads cut off with water and disrupt transportation. People have to wade through these waters to get to their destination as seen in the picture where a motor bike (commonly called "bodaboda") rider and his passengers navigate the flooding at Banda
