Description
Español: Bandera del municipio de Puente Nacional (Santander).

" En el más alto de sus significados, es el símbolo de la estirpe y representación genuina del pueblo de Puente Nacional. El pabellón , bandera y estandarte del municipio de Puente Nacional, Santander se compone de los colores Sinople (Verde Heráldico) y Amarillo Oro, distribuido en cinco franjas Horizontales, las cuales estan intercaladas empezando por el color Verde Heraldico, Amarillo Oro , Verde Heraldico, Amarillo Oro, Verde Heraldico: Las Franjas Verdes Heraldico son de 22 cms de ancho y las de color Amarillo Oro de 17 cms de ancho. Simbologia Las tres fajas en sinople ( verde heráldico ) simbolizan la fe, la confianza y el respeto que nutre los tres poderes del Gobierno Municipal; Ejecutivo, Legislativo y Judicial. Las dos fajas amarillo oro, representan la libertad del hombre y de su pueblo lograda en la batalla del 8 de mayo de 1781, cuando los luchaderos sin derramar su sangre en estas tierras, consiguieron la victoria. Estas fajas posicionadas, de tal forma que equilibran el trabajo y la autoridad de los tres poideres de nuestro gobierno municipal."
