Its symbolism, according to CincyFlags in [1]: "Two blue bars represent Paxton Avenue and Madison Avenue. The Oak Leaf represents the heart of Oakley’s Esplanade which is the gathering space of the community where all are welcome. Oakley is named after the mighty Oak trees that populate the area, and orange was chosen to represent the color of the leaf in the fall Blue represents the sky, open spaces, sincerity, and loyalty. White represents optimism. Orange represents determination, success, joy, and warmth." |
