| Description |
English: Five Pits Trail. This northerly facing photograph is of point where the Tibshelf-Pilsley section of the Five Pits Trail crosses Westwood Brook via an embankment. Ahead the trail leads up a fairly long rise toward Pilsley.
To the right of the viewpoint there is a small plantation, the western edge of which can be seen in the picture. Westwood Brook flows through this plantation along a perfectly straight, narrow channel. To the left of the bend in the trail was a small tree covered in 625257! To see a photograph of the trail taken from some four or five metres ahead but facing back through this viewpoint in the opposite (southerly) direction, click here 624407.
