English: Five Pits Trail. This photograph is of the Five Pits Trail between Holmewood (ahead) and 610327¹ (behind the viewpoint).
Ahead at the bend a footpath, linking the 608845 near Astwith with North Wingfield, crosses the trail. The buildings in the left distance are houses in the Williamthorpe Road¹ area of Highfields, Holmewood. To the west (left) of the trail at this point a cornfield has a wide, uncultivated 611650.
