| Description |
English: Fishing in the Nyfer The Afon Nyfer runs through the grounds of Llwyngwair Manor caravan park on its way to the sea at Newport. It is one on the prime sites for catching sewin (sea trout) which are starting to migrate up the stream at this time of year- early summer.
The old slate steps seem to belong to a previous era when residents of the manor perhaps used boats to cross or navigate the Afon Nyfer. |
