| Description |
English: Fishing Lagoon, Saundersfoot. So called in 509580 (although the description refers to the eastern rather than western side of the harbour), but I thought it might have been constructed as a silt trap. A stream enters from the left, and there are two penstocks to control the flow into the harbour. The harbour was completed in 1835 for the export of anthracite coal. |
