| Description |
English: Fishguard fort at sunset This is the roof of one of the storehouses or garrison rooms that remain at the late C18 fort on Castle Point. The local inhabitants were charged with building the platform and structures in return for the provision of 8 guns by the Ordnance Department but the fort was only manned from 1794 to 1815. |
