English: Fishguard fort, garrison room The structure is not accessible but through the barred entrance it is possible to see that there were two rooms, or storage areas, under an arched roof, and with slit windows.
It seems a pity that the place contains just detritus and rubbish: some sort of tableau involving late C18 soldiers and weaponery would seem to be in order. |
