Summary
[edit]DescriptionFish Pond at Ascott Park - geograph.org.uk - 1734106.jpg |
English: Fish Pond at Ascott Park One of the old fish ponds associated with the vanished medieval village of Ascot.
Created by damming up a shallow valley with an earth bank which is to the left of this picture, the ponds are now very overgrown and hard to photograph. This is about the best shot I could get without wading into mud. There are more ponds in the wood to the south. They are even more overgrown. |
