Summary
[edit]DescriptionFirst day of service for TriMet's first battery bus - on Cornell Rd in Cedar Mill on March 4, 2019.jpg | TriMet bus 3801, the Portland-area transit agency's first battery-electric bus, on its first day in service, March 4, 2019. No. 3801 is a 2018-built New Flyer XE40 and is pictured here eastbound on Cornell Road near Barnes Road in Cedar Mill, headed for Sunset Transit Center on line 62-Murray Blvd. Its paint scheme was not yet complete at the time of the photo; one month later, TriMet added graphics promoting the bus's being all-electric. Four additional buses of the same type were on order and they arrived between April and June 2019. |
