Description This reflected image of the First Parish Church is from the theater complex of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. This is taken on the opposite side from the Wish Theater side. This church was constructed in 1845 and among its parish members were the American Poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and the abolitionist Harriet Beecher Stowe who's book "Uncle Tom's Cabin" was influential in changing public opinion to oppose slavery.
